Down with the city lights

Hacía mucho que no me pasaba por el blog, pero como sigo yendo a conciertos a menudo voy a  continuar dejando aquí mis opiniones y ya de paso veo como evoluciona mi gusto por la música. Hoy quiero hablar del primer concierto de BTS en Londres, que tuvo lugar el pasado octubre en el O2. BTS son un grupo de Kpop que en estos momentos se podría decir que son la boyband más importante del momento y está formado por Jungkook, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, Suga y su leader RM. El fenómeno del kpop es algo muy novedoso en Europa, ya que aunque este género empezó en los 90s, no ha sido hasta recientemente cuando ha salido de corea y ha tenido tanta exposición mundial. Y para ser sincera, creo que toda esta fama es merecida porque la realización y el espectáculo que dan no es comparable a la de ningún concierto que haya estado. Comprar las entradas para verlos es una odisea. Yo estuve intentándolo con una amiga, ambas con varios dispositivos y no conseguimos nada, así que no me quedó más...

La banda sobre la que voy a escribir ahora tenía muchísimas ganas de verla en directo, porque la he seguido desde sus inicios y la verdad es que últimamente la tenía muy olvidada. Hoy os vengo a hablar sobre The Vamps , que son una banda inglesa básicamente de pop integrada por Tristan Evans (batería), Connor Ball (bajo), James McVey (guitarra) y Brad Simpson (cantante) y en especial os vengo a hablar sobre el concierto que hicieron en Londres el pasado fin de semana dentro de su última gira mundial. El concierto tuvo 3 teloneros: The Tide, New Hope Club y Sabrina Carpenter de los cuales escribiré una entrada diferente porque creo que tengo varias cosas que decir, ya que la imagen que tenía de estos grupos es totalmente diferente de lo que vi... Así que prefiero centrarme en The vamps para que la entrada no sea demasiado larga.. Cuando The Vamps salieron al escenario miré a mi alrededor y era exactamente como pensaba, todo niñas adolescentes chillando como buenas fangirls. Pero...

La semana pasada vi por partida doble a uno de mis grupos favoritisimos, All time low y que decir de este tour... ¡Impresionante! La energía que tienen en el escenario es brutal así que quieras o no te lo pasas genial. Los vi el jueves en Londres y el sábado en Birmingham porque gane entradas con Kerrang! radio (Que vaya odisea porque nuestro nombre no figuraba en la lista....). Fueron los 2 impresionantes pero el de Londres fue especial, no se si porque era el sitio más grande que habían tocado en Uk o que... pero ¡madre mía! Jack es incansable y no para de ir de un lado a otro y mover al público ya sea con sus chistes de adolescente o dando saltos, Alex es más parado pero sabe como moverse por el escenario de un lado a otro sin dejar de visitar a los fans de toda la primera fila, Zack no es muy movido pero en Londres estaba que se salía y Rian que aunque parezca que no es tan enérgico como el resto también se hace notar desde la batería. El setlist de la gira es muy completo ...

McFly has been my favourite band since I was really young ad in spite of I don´t support Mcbusted too much this weekend has been mental!!! On saturday i was on the side but I could see everything because I was really close to the stage but not on the OMFG zone and I can´t describe the stage, the lightning.. INCREDIBLE!! What a great show. But on sunday I was on the OMFG zone, front row so nothing can beat it!! Mcbusted music is not good at all, I love beautiful lyrics and good melody but on them there is only good melody because the lyrics could had been written by me... Moreover there is a huge difference between Mcfly, Busted and Mcbusted songs... so I don´t think mixing them is a good idea because Mcbusted CD is crap... and Mcfly and Busted songs are quite awesome! On the other hand Mcbusted stage, lightning and efects beat everything! It shows how nerdy are them and his friendship, I love seeing them smiling and having fun all the time even though there are 2 bands in 1. ...

Today's post is about the other co-headline at the O2 arena, for me my favourite so far! All time low was awesome but You me at six is.... YOU ME AT SIX! The setlist wasn't my favourite because I missed songs like Liquid conference or Always attract or newer ones like Cold night and I would remove Contagious chemistry or The dilemma. 1. Lived a lie When All time low left the stage, lots of teenagers swapped places with a bit older boys and girls and everyone started to sing You me at six together until the band finally took the stage. Josh was wearing a hood which made him look like a hardcore boy and He started to sing Room to breath followed by all the loyal sinners. The crowd was crazy, They eve...

I remember the first DCODE edition in Madrid, Sum 41, My chemical romance and All time low! It was going to be the best day in my life until All time Low's van broke down near Madrid and They couldn´t arrive on time to play a proper gig in the maine stage.... at least They did an acoustic set in a small stage. So yesterday after 4 years I finally saw All time low live!!! The gig was at The O2 arena in London and They co-headlined with You me at six. On my opinion the setlist wasn't very good but they have so many good songs and It's hard to choose only 15. 1. A love like war 2. Lost in stereo 3. Heroes 4. Stella 5.
